Caribbean Lilac’s guide to glamming up that simple black dress….

You get invited to an event last minute…… you have no time to go looking for a new outfit! What do you do?

Even plain Jane knows that it is crucial to have this key item in every girl’s closet….The simple black dress!
You can wear a black dress almost anywhere and at almost anytime of day. We are going to show you how to jazz it up for those more grown and sexy events.
Ā I paired my wrap dress with some flirty open toe pumps. Open toe pumps are great, because if it is it’s an evening out on the town, a night of dancing, or a spectator event where you may be standing for a period of time, they add an extra shoe size and allow your feet to breathe. The peekaboo window is a sexy feature as well that leaves everything else to the imagination. ; )
Now….. remember… we said this was for the grown and sexy! Let’s see what glam pieces has to offer to give us that runway look….

Necklace: Acrylic ball/crystal cascade v drop necklace $14. Pin/Brooch: Crystal/feather pin or brooch (this also serves dually as a hair pin). $12

Rings: Crystal Multicolored stretch ring. $8

Bracelet: Water Pearl and rhinestone stretch bracelet. $20
This simple but elegant ensemble was able to grace the catwalk of the Brooklyn Wave Fashion Show with ease. Finished product…. Your body is a canvas…treat yourself today!

About caribbeanlilac

My name is Lila Green and I am the creator and founder of Caribbean Lilac a Women's Jewelry and Accessory online shopping store. I hand-pick and find unique and affordable jewelry items and place them all on my site to make it easy for women to find unique items they have been looking for. I love making people look great, but I also love making them feel beautiful as well. I believe that beauty comes in many forms but feeling beautiful is definitely more important than looking the part. My company Caribbean Lilac is dedicated to that. That's why my company's slogan is......"Beauty is not what you find on billboards and magazines... It's what you see when you glance into a mirror, a pool of water, your coffee cup. Beauty is you!" I am not in the jewelry business, I am in the business of boosting self-esteem and self-awareness. In addition, I also support a charity called R.E.A.C.H it helps the elderly who are either abandoned or housebound.
