Gender – Mix ….Ooh La La!!

Hope everyone is having a very Happy New Year!!   Here’s to a fashion faux pas free and stylish abundant year! Due to the holidays I’ve been getting nostalgic and flicking through some childhood pictures. One word……. MOM! How could she let me walk around like a wander fashion emergency?! I should ask for a big amount of compensation – yeah right good luck with that. Apart from my traumatic childhood flashback, do you remember back in the days in primary school, when sitting next to a boy was a punishment? And we literally fought our parent’s à la David vs. Goliath when they tried to dress up like boys?! (At least that happened to me like gazillion times, since I have a twin brother and everybody thought letting me wear suspenders to be more look alike is cute – hello I’m a girl duh!!)

Anyway, as hard as it is to accept dolls, let’s face it ‘Boys 2 Men ‘are having a kick – ass comeback. (I’m not talking about the band; we all know they’re timeless!) To achieve a standard status in your wardrobe for the New Year, it really is all in the detail. 2012 is all about the Gender Mix. Oversized blazer, sweater, Dr. Martens, boyfriend cut jeans, oxfords and so on – It’s a never ending story.  No matter what popover you choose, the standout chosen hue is what going to make sure it’s an eye catcher. Time to let the men’s world walk the catwalk this New Year.   Make some room ladies!

Stay heavenly fab!

About caribbeanlilac

My name is Lila Green and I am the creator and founder of Caribbean Lilac a Women's Jewelry and Accessory online shopping store. I hand-pick and find unique and affordable jewelry items and place them all on my site to make it easy for women to find unique items they have been looking for. I love making people look great, but I also love making them feel beautiful as well. I believe that beauty comes in many forms but feeling beautiful is definitely more important than looking the part. My company Caribbean Lilac is dedicated to that. That's why my company's slogan is......"Beauty is not what you find on billboards and magazines... It's what you see when you glance into a mirror, a pool of water, your coffee cup. Beauty is you!" I am not in the jewelry business, I am in the business of boosting self-esteem and self-awareness. In addition, I also support a charity called R.E.A.C.H it helps the elderly who are either abandoned or housebound.
